The reviews for The Thinking Man's Filth continue to pour in and they've been really great. The Aquarian says, "Consisting of six gritty little diamonds, this homemade dish is one best served over and over again...Aurally tight, the use of dynamics to the most extreme manner is both maddening and appreciated." Dingus on music (best blog name ever) says, "The force of nature recorded here is comparable to Jeff Tweedy, Ryan Adams and other alt-folk legends but with this solo endeavor Tasjan proves he doesn’t need a Wilco or any Cardinals. The chunky, distorted, stringy guitar throughout the album mixed with ageless, soul-wrenched vocals leaves almost no room for a rock band." Read the full review by clicking here.
I'd also like to note that, due to circumstances beyond my control, I won't be doing most of the dates in April with Sylvain Sylvain. However, I'll still be appearing with him on April 1st at The City Winery and we will begin recording an album with Tommy Price and Kenny Aaronson on tomorrow night. Hope to see you on tour down South with Jonny Burke this May. Rock on, rock on. ALT
